You can’t put a price on memories, right?! I wish someone would tell this to my bank account...So, to make the most of your trip to Walt Disney World Resort without breaking the bank, take advantage of these freebies during your vacation!

While visiting Disney’s theme parks…

  1. First, head to Guest Services at any park and pick up celebration button(s).  Birthday, anniversary, first visit, etc., it doesn’t matter what you are celebrating; Disney wants to celebrate with you!

  2. At Magic Kingdom, A Pirate’s Adventure is a MUST-DO!  Use treasure maps to complete the interactive scavenger hunts through Adventure Land, and your treasure will be Pirates of the Caribbean Fast Passes!  (And who doesn’t LOVE an extra Fast Pass?!?!) Sorcerer’s of the Magic Kingdom is another interactive scavenger hunt that is so much fun!

  3. At Tomorrowland Speedway, ask a Track Official for your Driver’s License!

  4. Over at Epcot, Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure is a fun scavenger hunt through the park or if you have crafty kids, the Kidcot Fun Stops are a must!

  5. At Animal Kingdom, the Wilderness Explorers complete missions and collect badges.

  6. And lastly, Jedi Training is a definite MUST if you have a little Star Wars fan.  Located at Hollywood Studios, kids can train with a Jedi Master and show-off their skills in a light saber battle!

But, the parks aren’t the only places for these awesome freebies… many Disney resorts offer some budget-friendly fun!

  7. How does a Culinary Tour at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge sound?  This event is free and usually starts around 4:00 at Jiko.  You can learn about the design elements of the restaurants and sample the food!

  8. If you have some spare time before the Culinary Tour, let your kiddos get their faces painted on the Mara patio between 2:00-3:00 or head toward the Savanna to view the animals and chat with a Savanna guide!

  9. At Disney’s Art of Animation Resort you can learn to draw a Disney character.  There are lessons daily, usually at 11:00, 2:00, & 5:00.

  10. Disney’s Fort Wilderness Lodge offers a campfire with Chip & Dale (yep, that’s a free character experience) where you can make s’mores!  You can bring your own s’mores kit or purchase one from the cart, if you so choose.
