Decide where to go. Tropical, Mountains, Disney, Universal, Cruise, All Inclusive-whatever! We have you covered at Kingdom Concierge. We are a full service travel agency. Do you need help planning a Disney trip, Universal, Sandals or Beaches? Well, yeah, we are pretty good at all those, but did you know we can plan your Cruise vacation, detail a Grand Canyon trip, swing a Hawaiian vacation, put together a “girls trip” to NYC, form a couples get away to an all inclusive, plan a destination wedding or a family reunion trip? Look no further! We’re here for you, friend!
Set a budget. Ask yourself, “Is this a simple, cost effective getaway, or is this a special “treat-yo-self” kind of experience? “ No answer is wrong. It is just what is best for you.
Give yourself time for both relaxation and adventure. As you talk to your travel agent, let them design a trip that meets your needs and desires. Are there special places you want to see while on your trip? Those can be added features so your trip is pre planned before you even leave. Whether it is Disney Character meals, a Universal exclusive vacation package, day trip to Salem while you are in Boston, NYC Italian Food Tour, Anne Frank’s house in Amsterdam or eating at one of the top ten Cliff Restaurants while on a day trip to Dubrovnik, Croatia. (Does it sound like I have had some fun? Because I have!)
How much lead time do you need to book a trip? I am so glad you asked. Depending on the destination, 10 months is ideal. It is nice to have enough time to plan out all the details of your trip (and to book the exact room that you want). Suites book up fast on cruises, and dining opens 180 days in advance for Disney trips. It seems crazy to think, but planning ahead with your travel agents help is crucial.
While “ideal” is a great, it’s not always “real”. Can you plan spur of the moment trips, you might ask? Why yes, yes I can. I have had friends call on their way to Universal or the day before a cruise and ask to book. If there is availability, we can make it happen.
Do I need insurance? This question is asked frequently. Well, have you ever experienced unplanned loss, illness or any Health issue? If you answered “yes” to any of the afore named issues, you may want to consider insurance. Your agent can assist you on getting the best coverage for your family.
What about if I know what I want to do and where I want to go? Why should I call a Travel Agent? Because we can give you tips along the way, help with transfers, and adjust your package if other deals come available. *Plus keep in mind this cost you $0. Why not give your friendly travel agent the commission instead of it being absorbed in the reservation?
